EN ROUTE !
3D animated road safety series
According to the WHO, more than 260,000 children and teenagers die in road accidents every year.
This dramatic figure should be corrected. So whether they're borrowing a vehicle, or walking alone in the streets, it's important to teach children to master how to get around safely.
According to the African Development Bank, less than half of African countries have developed a system to protect children from the risks of road accidents.
So at Studio KÄ, we came up with EN ROUTE!, a animated series to teach children the rules of road safety in a fun way. With the help of our two characters, Aziz and Eni, with whom they can identify, our viewers learn about the road and the correct gestures.

ON THE WAY ! features two children, Aziz and Eni, who use different ways to go to school. Aziz walks while Eni takes the local bus.
It is at the bus stop that the children often cross paths and discuss road safety.

Education and impact
The first screenings showed that children were better able to assimilate the educational content of the animated series En route! thanks to its playful nature.
Widespread distribution of the series across the African continent would amplify its educational impact on children.
