Studio KÄ and Gaumont: A meeting in the service of African animation

As part of the Creative Africa program, initiated by the French Ministry of Culture, Studio KÄ, represented by Mrs. Adja Soro, had the opportunity to meet Gaumont, the oldest French cinema company.
During this professional exchange, Ms. Soro spoke with Ms. Terry Kalagian, Vice President of Creative Content and Producer at Gaumont. This meeting was a valuable opportunity to discuss the richness of African stories and their potential in the world of international animation.

Studio KÄ takes a behind-the-scenes look at excellence at ISART Digital

During an enriching meeting, Studio KÄ had the opportunity to discover the world of ISART Digital, a school recognized for training talents who have contributed to international blockbusters.
The visit allowed to explore the premises of the establishment and to talk with the teaching and management team. An in-depth reflection on the technical approach of a Studio KÄ animation project also punctuated this meeting.
This discovery confirmed ISART's reputation as a school of excellence, capable of revealing and amplifying animation talents. An inspiring experience for Studio KÄ, which continues its ambition to explore new perspectives in the field of cultural animation.

Our publishing component is growing in Paris
November 25, 2024
Last November, Voyelles Éditions, the literature branch of Studio KÄ, represented by Mademoiselle Grâce NGoran, children's publisher, participated in the BIEF (Bureau International de l'Édition Française) Fellowship in Paris.
This program, dedicated to book professionals, has made it possible to forge valuable links with French-speaking publishers, whether African or international, with a view to future collaborations.
The event offered a unique opportunity to discuss editorial practices, discover new trends and strengthen bridges between the different French-speaking literary scenes.
"It was an enriching program," underlines Mademoiselle NGoran, marking an important step for Voyelles Éditions in its mission to promote quality youth works, rich in cultural and educational values.

Studio KÄ récompensé du Prix Awa de l'innovation par Enabel à Bruxelles

Studio KÄ, represented by Ms. Adja Soro, was honored yesterday in Brussels during an event organized by Enabel, celebrating four African women who are redefining practices in their respective creative industries sectors.
Janet Kabugho (eco-responsible craftsmanship), Sonia Guiza (international distribution of African films), Aicha Macky (documentary production), and Adja Soro (animation production and cultural publishing) were highlighted for their remarkable contributions.
This recognition sheds light on the collective efforts supporting these initiatives and contributes to transforming perceptions around African entrepreneurship. More than an individual celebration, it emphasizes the importance of building bridges between markets and showcasing the cultural richness of the continent.
